The discrimination this exists for, measured 2026-08-29 across the corpus: mxr-carbon-copy
and boss-dm-2 carry only resistors, capacitors and pots on their timing nodes, so their
derived delays are a property of the circuit. boss-ce-5 carries Q8’s emitter directly
on oscillator node 42, so the frequency is set by that transistor’s current and the R·C
arithmetic reads a resistor that is not what times the oscillator.
