resolveClockModulationSource
resolveClockModulationSource(
bbdDevice,netlist,registry):ClockModulationSource
Defined in: packages/compiler/src/bbd-clock.ts:502
The node an LFO reaches a modulated BBD clock on: the steering device’s control terminal.
Not the timing node. That is the point of this function. The timing node carries the
oscillator’s own waveform at the clock rate — for a chorus, ~100 kHz, far above anything a
48 kHz host can sample — so reading it as a modulation source would alias garbage into the
delay length. The control terminal carries the LFO and nothing else: on boss-ce-2 that is
Q5’s base, which the DEPTH pot reaches through Q4 and D1.
Deliberately strict. Exactly one steering device with one resolvable control terminal, and that terminal may not sit on ground or on the timing network itself. Anything else refuses by name and leaves the delay static, because a guess here is a sweep of the wrong thing.
