settleSelfCheck
settleSelfCheck(
program,sampleRate,sampleAt,options?):object[]
Defined in: packages/runtime/src/settle.ts:664
Known-answer controls for the measurement primitives here.
Every measurement function should have an input whose answer is known independently of the
measurement. Today both broken instruments were in the position of never having been pointed
at one: broadband plate correlation was never checked against a circuit whose phase relationship
was known, and measureSettledSignal shipped with an alignment defect that a single identity
assertion would have caught before it produced a table with more signal than total output.
The identity here is the cheapest control that exists: difference a render against itself and the answer must be exactly zero. Any misalignment, window mismatch, or off-by-one in the sample range breaks it immediately and loudly.
