Which runtime control moves a stamp’s value, or null when it is constant.
Read off the shape table’s control flag. A stamp missing that flag would silently make a
block look controlFree, and step 4’s whole promise is that such a block’s matrix is
constant — so the omission would be a factorisation frozen against a knob that still moves.
